My name is Jill Pasewark and I am about to spend my sophomore year of high school studying abroad in north-eastern France. I am doing this through the program AFS and the Speedwell Scholarship. The name of my blog is “Voyager le chemin” which means to travel the path, I think. I’ve taken three years of Spanish up to this point and have just studied French starting this summer so I’m really just relying on what google translate tells me. I thought that would be a good name for the blog of someone who is about to go on a journey and take a road of sorts, so there’s an explanation for my fellow non-French speakers. I’m going to France because I am interested in their culture as far as their art and history and fashion, and I”ve just always wanted to go there. I have faith that it will be a good experience!

    Hi Jill,

I work with your Mom who is amazing and fun to work with! She shared your blog with me. I really enjoy following your journey through your pictures and comments. Your photographs are amazing and some of the more basic things you share are really interesting like the light switches, no screens, and I also thought of “The Secret Garden” when I saw the picture out your bedroom window. Might want to check that garden out 🙂 Enjoy

    • Hi! Glad to hear that my mom is a good coworker, I think she’s pretty great as well! It is so nice to hear that you like my blog, I always appreciate it when people comment and I enjoy writing it as an much as you enjoy reading it I think! And I will continue to attempt to see beyond the garden walls, if I can see inside one day I will certainly post something about it 🙂 thank you!
